Cooling Tower / Fan Deck Assembly

Cooling tower and fan deck noise control has become an area of great focus in recent years. Although many equipment manufacturers offer attenuation packages, at times these do not provide adequate noise control. IMI Acoustics has combined our Oxel MVA Silencer with a standard plenum allowing us to adapt our silencer package to most fan decks and cooling towers. The assembly is fabricated in aluminum for reduced weight and many times is within weight capacity of the equipment without any additional structural supports.

The plenum plus Oxel Silencer package can be easily disassembled for maintenance access and is not impacted by snow loading. The system can be fully incorporated into one our acoustical enclosures and similar treatment methods can be employed to treat both intake and exhaust airflows.
