High Velocity Silencers

The unique design of our OXEL High Velocity Spiral Silencers provides for the use in problematic extreme velocity situations such as steam bleeds, steam blow downs, safety valve discharge, safety valve testing and high velocity gas discharge. These units can handle pressures in excess of 4,000 PSI as a discharge silencer while providing high attenuations, low back pressure and are light weight in their design. Due to the low weight and corresponding low wind loading, they can be installed, in many cases, without additional structural supports, thereby reducing installation costs. Most are self supporting with an addition of a flange connection and can be manufactured from many different materials for any situation. Please contact the factory for specific recommendations.
